Supply Chain and Logistics | Brand and Retail Selection Day

During the Plug and Play China 2019 Innovation Week, Plug and Play China Supply Chain and Logistics| Brand and Retail Batch 2 Selection Day are also held in Shanghai.

 

DHL, Maersk, BASF, L’Oreal, Nike, Unilever, Coca Cola, Tetra Pak Packaging and other Plug and Play’s global and local partners attended the event.

 

Plug and Play are constantly self-innovating. From the earliest incubation, investment and acceleration to cooperating with leading global and Chinese corporates to build an innovation platform in vertical areas, the “innovation industry” itself has never stopped the pace of innovation.

 

With the help of technological innovation, enterprise supply chain and logistics gradually realize transformation and upgrading. Advanced logistics management information system provides tremendous help for enterprises to realize automation system, control circulation cost and improve efficiency.

 

Facing two challenges: structural change of customers and emergence of innovative business models, the retailers provide customers with better online and offline experience, all-round digital goods, and establish an agile operation system with customers as the core to rethink their business model and positioning.

 

Food and beverage innovation has become an important part of the concern of large enterprises with the change of consumer’s propensity. Ingredient innovation, packaging innovation, food traceability, safety testing, green&sustainable development, supply chain innovation and other issues have also been well explained in this event.

 

This event focuses on many popular technology directions to help corporates select high-quality startups and achieve win-win cooperation between corporates and startups.

 

At the event site, 46 startups in supply chain and logistics, brand and retail, food and packaging areas shared their technological innovations and solutions to the guests.

 

Yibin Ni, Head of Supply Chain and Logistics, and Yifei Zhu, Head of Brand and Retail, expressed:

 

 “We will dedicate to build a top-level innovation cooperation ecological platform between corporates and startups to save costs, speed up technological innovation and enhance competitiveness for our business partners, as well as to accelerate the implementation and commercialization and facilitate access to the funds and other resources needed for the development of startups.

 

Startups that are selected by corporates on Selection Day shall enter the Batch and in the next three months, they will carry out online and offline communication, PoC, experiment and implementation together.

 

The Supply Chain and Logistics, Brand and Retail innovation achievements of Batch 2 shall be released on the Exhibition Day in November.
